My stance on AI "Art"

So, AI: It's been a terribly hard year to be a digital artist. Several of the social media a lot of us used have been falling down, which makes it much harder to freelance online, and AI has been the last nail on the coffin. Webpages that were meant to protect artists are instead willing to sell our work to data sets. It just shows how little protection there is to art and Intellectual Property. This year I've experienced some massive art theft (someone sold stickers I designed in etsy, by the thousands), and it's incredible how hard is to get actually compensated for whenever people step on your work.

AI is probably not going away, but fighting so it sources art ethically is very important if we want to make art a viable career still. So please, listen to what artists have been asking for, and support the fight: Otherwise, the days of hand-made art may be counted.
